Sending domain
The domain your prospecting leaves from, ideally separate from your main one, so that a bad campaign can’t harm your invoices and customer email.
A sending domain is the domain in the From address of your emails. Reputation builds up domain by domain, so prospecting is often done from a similar domain kept for that purpose, with its own SPF, DKIM and DMARC and a website that redirects to the main one. That way, a campaign going badly doesn’t put your invoices and customer email at risk. See how to prepare it.
